SQBL B Grade team makes the Grand Final.

The Southern Stars senior team are the 2011/12 SQBL "B" Grade Runner Ups after going down to Windsor Royals 6-5 in a really hard fought final. Congratulations to Windsor and terrific effort by our Stars team.

Little League Planets team are in the Grandfinal.

The final score was Ipswich Musketeers 15 vs Southern Stars Planets 12. The game went for 4 innings with the final innings the decider. Congratulations Ipswich, good effort and well played Stars.

Karen wants to thank every player and parent for their support this season, without their efforts we would not have made the finals. Congratulations. Karen would also like to acknowledge the heart and soul that goes into every game that has been played by the team, and a special acknowledgement to Caleb Jackson who has thrown himself into every game in which ever position he has played. Karen would also like to thank Matthew Rhodes for being the bat boy for the game played today. Also a thank you to Rick Waterworth for scoring to allow the parents to watch their children play.

The team should be so proud of themselves, Karen and every parent are extremely proud. Thank you to the scorers and every parent who has assisted in some way throughout this entire season.

Congratulations goes to Karen Gallpen for being named Brisbane South Coach of the Year..
